With over 20 years of real estate sales experience in the Longview area, I understand the complexities of the real estate market. Whether it is helping a buyer purchase the home of their dreams or helping a seller close the sale of their home, I find it wonderfully rewarding to be a part of my clients’ happiness. When all is said and done, I believe it's about honesty and integrity. By putting my client's interests first, I am able to build a trusting friendship rather than focusing on simply ‘making a sale’. I have learned that if you truly care about your clients and take care of them, the rest will follow and your success is inevitable.

In addition to being a Texas real estate broker, I hold the most respected real estate designations: CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist) and NAR e-Pro.

My property expertise ranges from residential homes in all price ranges to country estates, land and acreages. Please contact me at (903) 235-2932 or jerwinhomes@gmail.com.

Seller Tip #5

 Bathrooms Play An Important Role

Remove clutter from bathroom vanities and cabinets. Be sure to scrub the sinks, tubs, and showers. Polish mirrors and chrome. Always clean the floors and walls, and deodorize the area. Put out your nicest towels. Scented soaps and/or candles are a nice touch too.

Decorative Kitchens Help Sell A Home

Create a comfortable atmosphere in the kitchen with colorful curtains, cup towels and place mats. Clear countertops of appliances and clutter. Add green plants or bowls of fruit. Remember, prospective buyers will look inside cabinets and pantries. Organize cabinets and clean inside and out.

Mend Minor Flaws

Check for squeaky and/or hard-to-open windows, doors, door knobs, drawers and sliding glass doors for ease of operation. Provide adjustments and/or lubrication as necessary. Make sure all plumbing is in working order. Clean any rust or soiled spots. Keep trash baskets empty and deodorize pet areas.

Seller Tip #1

Start From the Outside, and Work Your Way In

Never underestimate the importance of drive-up appeal. A well manicured lawn, neatly trimmed shrubs and a clean walkway all help make a good first impression. Also, repair or replace damaged screens, glass panes, door hardware and other outdoor fixtures.
